Your desk, set up before you think about it.
Culling photos, cutting video, writing code, answering mail: each one wants its windows somewhere else, and you rebuild that by hand ten times a day. Morax Workspace makes the arrangement a named context you switch to in one move. The hub only opens it: the app runs on your machine.
Native app, macOS 15.0 or later.
What this product does
Window layouts
Windows land according to a named layout, rather than by hand, screen by screen.
Work contexts
A context groups the apps and the layout for one activity. You switch from one to another in a single move.
Driven by Hammerspoon
The automation runs on Hammerspoon, so on scripts you can read and change.
In detail
Native, not a web page in disguise
Morax Workspace is a full macOS app, with its own runtime. It doesn't need this hub to work.
Opened by link
The hub triggers the app through a dedicated URL scheme. Nothing is passed either way.
Your data stays on the machine
Layouts and contexts live in the app, on your Mac. This hub stores none of them and copies none of them.
macOS 15.0 or later
The app uses recent window management APIs. No Windows or Linux version is planned.
Meant to answer to Morax Voice
Switching context is exactly the kind of thing you would rather say than click. The two applications are built to speak to each other, and that link is still to be made.
Who it is for
- A photo culling session
- The catalogue software, the preview and the source folder land in the same places every time.
- A dev session
- Editor, terminal and browser come back to yesterday's layout with no manual setup.
- A client call
- A dedicated context puts the video call and the notes up front, and pushes the rest aside.
Open Workspace
The link triggers the app installed on your Mac. The hub does nothing more.
