Put the keyboard down.
You press, the music stops, you talk, the words land where your cursor was — and the music picks up again. It works the other way too: give it a long text and listen to it in your own language, while you drive or cull. It runs on models installed on your Mac, which is why this one is free.
Requires macOS 26.0 or later
What this product does
The music stops on its own
This is the frustration the app was built on. Dictating used to mean pausing the podcast by hand, talking, then finding your place again. Here the sound steps aside while you speak and comes back after, and you never think about it.
Your voice replaces the keyboard
Talking is faster than typing and costs you less. Morax Voice takes what you say and writes it down, into whichever application is in front of you, so a thought never waits for your hands to be free.
Listen, in the language you think in
Long blocks of text are tiring to read and much less tiring to hear — less again in your own language. Give it the text, close the page, go and do something else: it reads it out while your eyes and hands stay on the drive or the edit.
Download for macOS
Morax Voice is a native application: it runs on your Mac, and this hub only hands you the disk image.

In detail
The models run on your machine
Speech and reading both happen locally, on open models that are small enough to sit on a laptop and good enough to keep up. Nothing is sent off to be transcribed. That is also the whole reason this application can be free: another user costs nothing to serve.
Your prompts stay findable
What you dictated is kept as a history, so the long prompt you spoke yesterday is a search away rather than gone.
macOS 26.0, Mac only
The requirement is the app's own: no Windows, Linux or browser version. The disk image is signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarised by Apple, so macOS opens it on the first launch.
The hub sees nothing
This page can show neither your transcriptions nor the state of the app. It has no access to the machine it runs on.
A separate app, not a module of the hub
Morax Voice is its own repository with its own runtime. It doesn't need Morax One to work, and Morax One doesn't need it.
Who it is for
- The podcast is playing
- You dictate over it without touching the player: the sound steps aside, the text lands, the sound comes back.
- Your hands are already busy
- You say it and it's written, instead of putting the camera down to find a keyboard.
- A long text you'll never sit down to read
- You listen to it while you drive, cull or cook, and it's read in your own language, so nothing costs you extra.
- A creative brief
- An intention is faster to say than to write, and dictation gives you a first draft to work on.
Morax Voice
Speak instead of typing, listen instead of reading, and let the music sort itself out. A macOS app, built separately, meant to stay free because it runs on your own machine.
